Introducing our Second Cat Club Finalist.. Socks!
We had a chat with each of our first round finalists to hear all about their favourite furry friend, covering everything from coming home stories to adorable antics and of course Cat Club!
Purrfect Profile: Socks
Gained Family Member status when:
Amber found Socks when he was just 2 days old! A cold, frightened kitten in need of a warm bed, some tender loving care and of course – Cat Club! Luckily Amber was able to provide just that, she fell in love with him instantly and the two have been an inseparable pair ever since.
What happened next?
Socks has just celebrated his fourth birthday and while he may be growing up and learning how to stand on his own four paws, he hasn’t forgotten about Amber. Throughout the day and into the night, Socks makes sure he’s involved in her daily routine. From cuddling up at night in her bed, to following her around the house – he’s even been known to jump into the bath just to be close to Amber!
While Socks is the most loyal little cat with a serious soft spot for cuddles, he also loves to play and shows off his mischievous side on the daily. However perhaps Sock’s best quality is his ability to brighten up Amber’s day – anytime, anywhere she can count on her furry friend to be only one paw away.
A typical day includes:
Like most cats, Socks loves to spend his day in a leisurely snooze, wrapped up in fluffy blankets… we wonder if he’s dreaming about his Cat Club?! However while this little house cat makes sure he’s getting in his 40 winks, he’s also a fan of road trips in the car and getting in those neighbourhood watch hours with Amber on his little lead.
You can find him playing his favourite trick when he’s working the night shift, hiding under tables and running out to give a mini paw slap to the legs of anyone who happens to be walking past. This little boxer also likes to try his paw at mini boxing matches with Amber’s hand – Cat Club is definitely keeping this guy’s energy levels topped up!
Why should Socks be our Cat Club winner?
I think he deserves to win as Socks deserves the world and more. Having watched him grow up from the start, I would love to see his little face on your packaging!
